Our Community

CSO provides services to nine counties in Pennsylvania: Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Lycoming, Snyder, Union, Mifflin, Clinton, and Centre. Each county – and community – is unique.

Northumberland County

Northuberland

Northumberland County includes the cities of Shamokin and Sunbury and the boroughs of Herndon, Kulpmont, Marion Heights, McEwensville, Milton, Mount Carmel, Northumberland, Riverside, Snydertown, Turbotville, and Watsontown. Major employers include Weis Markets, Watsontown Trucking Co Inc., Knoebels Amusement Resort, and Conagra Packaged Foods. In Northumberland County, there are 13,397 people – including 3,757 children – living in poverty.

Columbia County

Columbia

Columbia County includes the town of Bloomsburg and the boroughs of Benton, Berwick, Briar Creek, Catawissa, Millville, Orangeville, and Stillwater. It is the home of Bloomsburg University. Major employers include Geisinger, Wise Foods, and Berwick Offray. In Columbia County, there are 10,592 people – including 2,184 children – living in poverty.

Montour

Lycoming County

Lycoming

Lycoming County includes the city of Williamsport and the boroughs of Duboistown, Hughesville, Jersey Shore, Montgomery, Montoursville, Muncy, Picture Rocks, Salladasburg, and South Williamsport. It is the home of Lycoming College and Pennsylvania College of Technology.  Major employers include UPMC Susquehanna, Weis Markets, and Aramark Facility Services LLC. In Lycoming County, there are 15,331 people – including 5,043 children – living in poverty.

Snyder

Union
