Case Management Services

CSO’s case management program provides one-on-one support to help individuals set and reach their personal and financial goals. Case managers work alongside participants to build financial stability, strengthen problem-solving skills, and connect them with helpful community resources and support.

When funding opportunities are available, our role goes beyond providing financial assistance. Through our case management services, we work with participants to use those resources in ways that promote long‑term stability rather than dependence, supporting sustainable progress and lasting self‑sufficiency.

Purpose of CSO’s Case Management
  • Learning About Money: We help you understand how to manage your money, budget, save, and make good financial choices.

  • Setting Goals and Making a Plan: We work with you to choose goals that matter to you and create a step-by-step plan to reach them.

  • Building Problem-Solving Skills: We support you in learning how to handle challenges and stay strong during tough times.

  • Connecting You to Support: We help you find programs, services, and people in the community who can support you and your family.

  • Using Your Strengths: We help you recognize what you’re good at and use those strengths to move forward.

Since 2022, Deserea has been working with Amy in our program, showing incredible determination and resilience. Today, we’re proud to celebrate her successful completion of the CSBG Self-Sufficiency Program—and the achievement of every personal goal she set for herself.

Deserea stated, "Case management has helped me become more self-sufficient and confident in my abilities. I’ve learned how to handle many things on my own, and also know when to reach out for help. Through this process, I have gained the skills to prepare for and succeed in job interviews, as well as how to create a professional resume. These tools have given me a stronger foundation for reaching my goals."
