CSO helps people access nutritious foods through food pantries, home-delivered meals, and assistance with SNAP applications. We administer state and federal food programs (SFPP and TEFAP) and manage ordering for nine food pantries in Northumberland County.

If you need immediate help with food, CSO can connect you to one of the food pantries in our area. We help to coordinate nine pantries.
Get Home-Delivered Meals
If you or someone you love is homebound, we can help you sign up for home-delivered meals through the the Human Services Development Fund.
Sign up for SNAP
SNAP (formerly called 'Food Stamps') can help you stretch your food budget so that your family has enough food to eat. CSO is here to help you prepare an application for SNAP and other services.
Fresh Food Pantry
Great Dane, a local leader in transportation, recognized the need for fresh food for people in the community who were living in poverty. Working with CSO they ran a fresh food pantry, during the summer of 2019, staffed completely by volunteers.
